About Me
🔹 Operating professionally since 1999, with a lifelong passion for art
🔹 Proud holder of 1st and 2nd place awards in local art competitions
🔹 Staunch believer in continued artistic growth and enrichment. I delight in continuing to take classes and practicing new styles. I feel this makes me a more well-rounded artist.
🔹I consider myself to be a portrait artist, whether human or animal. I grew up with dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and rabbits and have always tried to capture their personalities on paper, even as a small child. I currently live on a small farm with cows, chickens, and a goat. These wonderful creatures round a person out even more.
🔹 I am lucky enough to be married to the love of my life. I have one son and 4 grandchildren. I have painted portraits of family members and friends and enjoy it greatly. Family is everything.
🔹 my studio is located in a small town in South Alabama.

Tell me your story
Let’s chat about what you’d like me to paint, and we can decide if I’m the right artist for your project. I love to work with people looking to capture meaningful moments, momentos near to your heart, and images of loved ones.
We’ll discuss all the details of your project and I’ll make recommendations on the composition, etc. We’ll review any reference photos you have, or sample images of what you’re looking for and talk about the finished size of the project.
Set the timeline
Once we’ve talked through your project, I’ll put together final pricing to send over to you for review. If you approve the project, there is a 50% initial payment before I get started. Commissions start at $300. and the remainder is due upon Approval of the Painting.Â
Deliver the final painting
I’ll send you project update photos along the way, and keep you informed of my progress. Once the painting is done, I’ll work with you to determine the best way to ship (insured), or pick up options.
